Viewer Controls

VADAAR provides additional controls for Viewer through Viewer Editor to enhance the usability.

Viewer​

There are times when an environment has more than one Viewer configured. The below Send To and Get From options give the ability to manipulate the online Viewers on the fly.

Send To​

The Send To option gives users the ability to send a canvas configuration to a specific Viewer set up in the environment.

Prerequisite

Have the Viewer you want to work with already selected.

To Send To a Viewer:

  1. In Viewer Editor, select the Viewer Controls tab.
  2. In the Viewer section of the top ribbon, select Send To.

Result: The content on the canvas is ready for viewing in the selected Viewer.

Get From​

The Get From option gives users the ability to retrieve the content from a specific Viewer set up in the environment.

Prerequisite

Have the Viewer you want to work with already selected.

To Get From a Viewer:

  1. In Viewer Editor, select the Viewer Controls tab.
  2. In the Viewer section of the top ribbon, select Get From.

Result: The content from the selected Viewer is visible on the canvas.

Playback Synchronization​

The Playback Synchronization setting allows for viewing a debrief's timeline synchronized to the date and time the recording took place. While this is a default setting when in debrief mode, it also offers to have a regular video timeline.

Zero​

The Zero playback synchronization setting starts a debrief timeline at zero until the full lapsed time of the recording session.

To apply the Zero setting:

  1. In Viewer Editor, select the Viewer Controls tab.
  2. In the Playback Synchronization section of the top ribbon, select Zero.
  3. In the Change Playback Synchronization Mode dialog, select Ok.

Result: The recording session and timeline are reset to the beginning.

Time of Day​

The Time of Day playback offset synchronization shows a debrief timeline starting at the day and time the recording session took place.

To apply the Time of Day setting:

  1. In Viewer Editor, select the Viewer Controls tab.
  2. In the Playback Synchronization section of the top ribbon, select Time of Day.
  3. In the Change Playback Synchronization Mode dialog, select Ok.

Result: The recording session and timeline are reset to the beginning.

note

The date is in DD MM YYYY format and the time is in the 24-hour format. This cannot be changed.
