GST_WEBRTC_ICE_CONNECTION_STATE_FAILED Error

A GST_WEBRTC_ICE_CONNECTION_STATE_FAILED message indicates that a network connection to the remote VADAAR Sender could not be established.

First step is confirming whether you can route packets directly between your system hosting the Viewer and the system hosting the Sender? If not, this indicates a networking error and you may like to involve a System/Network Administrator of your environment.

If you are trying to connect Viewers/Senders on remote networks through a WAN (Wide Area Network) like the internet, then you have two options available to you:

  1. Configure a VPN connection to bridge the two LANs (Local Area Networks).
  2. Configure ICE Servers using the VADAAR Settings > ICE Servers administrators option. A popular STUN/TURN server that can be used is coturn.
